Stop Windows 10 Installing Unwanted Apps Like Candy Crush...
It's totally crazy but even on Windows 10 business Microsoft by default still force the download of unwanted apps like candy crush, Disney magic whatever and so on:
To stop these apps being automatically downloaded and installed you need to edit this registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies \Microsoft\Windows\CloudContent
To make it really simple I have made the fix available for download. Click here to download the .zip file and extract the files, double click the file DisableWindowsConsumerFeatures.reg and click yes or OK when prompted.
Make sure that your version of Windows 10 is fully up to date before running the registry fix. Restart your PC and you should be good to go.
How do you uninstall unwanted apps already installed...?
You might need to uninstall all unwanted apps before running the fix. To do this use the Windows 10 search bar and search the word apps -> click on apps and features.
From the list of apps you can scroll down and uninstall anything thats unwanted. Run the fix once everything you don't want has already been uninstalled.
